WorkPace does all these things:
These features include:
Special features of WorkPace are:
- Setup wizard - automatically determines the best setting for you.
- Unique multi-level warning system
- Intelligent calculation of optimal break times
- Optional forcing of breaks
- On-screen status display
Advanced features of WorkPace include:
- Installation wizard - this takes you through the installation, and in particular the network installation, step-by-step with full explanations
- Enhanced support for large-scale network installations
- Automatic install feature (WPAuto.ini). This allows a system administrator to place one special copy of WorkPace onto the network and choose how they would like to be installed on user's computers. From there WorkPace will then automatically install on all the computers it is asked to, and with the paths and settings chosen. This feature also allows automatic reinstalling and upgrading of WorkPace to occur. All this occurs in a manner which requires no end user interaction.
- Global settings stored in central sysadmin.ini file; the settings in this file automatically apply to all WorkPace users on the network. Changing the sysadmin.ini, either directly, or through the system administrator login, will then affect all users. For example, the system administrator password is now stored globally instead of locally as it was previously.
- Automatic Setup features (workpace.set). This allows the system administrator to create and specify a particular initial setup for the users (instead of letting them use the setup wizard).
