Bigger exercise videos for displaying on HD monitors
The WorkPace exercise videos have been upgraded from 400x400 to 640x640 meaning they now appear much larger on the average modern HD (1920x1080) computer monitor. Easier to see and follow. By upgrading the videos to the new MP4 format we have achieved increased quality without making the file sizes any larger.

For organizations with employees in many countries WorkPace now provides productivity and ergonomics tips in any of 12 native languages. Encourage your staff to learn keyboard shortcuts to reduce mouse use and to learn about ergonomics as they work.
In this special new mode WorkPace continues to monitor break and micropauses, but will never interrupt the user with break alerts on screen.
Intended to provide an absolute minimum level of work disruption to users the user still receives feedback on when they should take breaks, and on how many breaks they’re taking, via the Status Panel. The mode can be set for all breaks by choosing Current Settings = "Quiet Mode (no alerts)", or by choosing “Low (no alerts)" for the Enforcement Level on any break.
This mode allows Wellnomics Risk Management users to complete a risk assessment on staff’s work patterns before any breaks are prompted. Management can identify which staff are at risk before before turning on any breaks. This allows you to maximise risk reduction whilst minimizing user interruption.
Version 4.3 makes it much easier to see and change your break settings. Whenever you open the WorkPace Console you see a summary of your current settings. With one click you can run the WorkPace Setup Wizard and change your profile to get breaks more or less often as you feel you need.
See Wellnomics WorkPace 4.3 Release Notes for a complete list of enhancements & fixes in this version.
WorkPace 4.3 helps your staff reduce mouse use and improve efficiency by learning keyboard shortcuts for common tasks.
Edit the advice WorkPace provides to suit your organisation's needs. Unlimited number of messages can be displayed.
New simple presets allow users a wider range of settings. Choose Monitor Only, or Low to just receive feedback on your work patterns with no break interruptions.
Flashing border or bouncing icon - which do you prefer? You can now choose.
Do your staff use remote desktop connections to other computers? Avoid double-counting their computer use and getting breaks on two computers at once with WorkPace 4.3.

Digital signing enabled: Digital signing is a technology that ensures that the software is in its original form and has not been tampered with. All WorkPace *.exe and *.dll files are now digitally signed.
Blank Screen option: The Administrator is able to select that a blank screen appears during WorkPace breaks. This is useful to reinforce the actual break for users at the highest risk.
Standby duration selection: Standby in WorkPace can be useful for short periods when someone doesn't want to be interrupted (e.g. when making a presentation). However, sometimes the user can forget to turn WorkPace back on afterwards. This new function allows the user to select the duration of the standby after which time WorkPace will automatically resume.
Logoff safety guard: When daily or weekly computer-use limits have been reached a window appears to notify the user. The user can choose to ignore the notice and continue working, or log-off the computer. If "logoff" is selected the user will now be prompted to confirm that they wish to close down their computer. This will prevent any inadvertent shut-downs.
New Monitoring Engine: WorkPace 3.2 introduces a major advance in measuring computer use. With support for Windows Direct X and Windows XP Raw Input WorkPace can measure more than ever before. Immediate benefits are monitoring of mouse scroll wheel activity, and distinguishing better between real and computer generated keystrokes (e.g. from speech recognition programs). This new engine will allow WorkPace to measure new statistics not previously possible , such as laptop usage and identifying what type of mouse or keyboard is being used. This will help WorkPace measure risks even more accurately than before.
Recording Time on Standby: Standby in WorkPace can be useful for short periods when someone doesn’t want to be interrupted (e.g. when making a presentation). However, leaving WorkPace on standby too much can risk user’s health. Now you can report on how much standby is being used. Identify users who’re using standby too much.
Desk Mode: Requested by many, WorkPace ‘desk mode’ is finally available. Many clients have said they’d like to keep being reminded to take micropauses, breaks and do stretches regularly, even when not using the mouse or keyboard. For example, if they are writing at their desk, or if using speech recognition software. Now WorkPace can support this with a new feature called ‘Desk Mode’.
Turn on this feature and WorkPace will swap into ‘desk mode’ after you stop using the mouse and keyboard for a while. This will ensure you maintain healthy work habits away from the computer as well when using it.
