Recovery

For ease of presentation I will present my recovery in several parts, many of these parts were carried out concurrently, and the order in which I began them would be no means be the optimum. Although my recovery was in roughly the following order it was based upon a lot of trial and error. If done again I would, for example, begin on 7 & 8 much sooner, right at the beginning perhaps.

1) Deactivation of Trigger points

2) Removal of scar tissue and muscle inflexibility

3) Prevention of Trigger Point Reactivation

4) Treatment of Neuropathic pain

5) Physical rehabilitation

6) Postural correction

7) Modification of working techniques

8) Learning Relaxation

9) Changing approach to work and life

Carrying out this recovery programme took up to 5 hours a day to implement; in my opinion it is a full time job. It is also bloody hard work, the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Read more about the recovery process.
