Notes on Terminology

There is no one universally agreed term for the raft of work related musculoskeletal disorders. Terms include RSI, which can stand for Repetitive Stress Injury and Repetitive Strain Injury, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (sometimes Carpel Tunnel Syndrome) and OOS. Note also that the term Ergonomics has both general and specific applications.
